Comptroller Releases Boycott Lists
In recent sessions, Texas has added language to Sections 2271 and 2274 of the Government Code restricting the ability of governmental entities to contract with companies that boycott Israel, energy companies, and firearms and ammunition industries. Separately, the Comptroller is required under Chapter 809 of the Government Code to publish a list of companies that boycott energy companies, and state governmental entities are prohibited from investing in these companies. The comptroller's office has published that list here:
