This initial Approved Drivers List submission must be completed prior to driving a WFISD mini bus, receiving itinerant mileage reimbursement, renting a car or driving any other WFISD owned vehicle.
This form must be completed each school year on the form below.
We do not contact you after your submission unless you are not eligible.
The list is reviewed on a monthly basis and reminders are sent out to update your license or insurance via e-mail one time only. If you fail to return updated documents, your name will be removed from the list.
We follow the TxDPS point system on driver records. This means that depending upon the violations shown on a driving record, you may not be approved for a mini bus or to drive District vehicle.
Mini Bus Information: If you are going to be driving a mini bus, you must schedule training with the Durham office PRIOR to driving the mini bus (on an annual basis - training needs to be completed in the summer). Once training is done, you can call Durham to reserve your bus. If training and the drivers record check is not complete, you will not be able to reserve a mini bus. Please call Durham School Services at 940-766-2113 to arrange mini bus training at least 10 days prior to your event.
Transporting Students: Per FMG Reg Costs of transportation will be paid from the school budget. Students are required to ride in school-provided transportation to and from the event. Use of private cars to transport students for school-related activities is not permitted.
