This page will offer guidance on permission slips, hosting activities at your campus, and most anything else that might be a risk at your campus.  The information applies to all Booster Clubs and PTAs/PTOs in regards to insurance requirements and background checks.

Our goal in Risk Management is to help keep your campus safe from any unforeseen risks.  Listed below are just a few risks you can encounter. 

• Mechanical rides- These are not allowed on any property (this includes hay rides) 

• Please visit Bounce Houses for more info on allowable amusement rides (including Dunk Tanks).

• Petting zoos - At this time, petting zoos are not allowed.

• Any vendor coming onto school property (Kona Ice, Texas Blood Institute, Job Fairs, University Fairs, etc..) to present to students or staff, or set up equipment, must provide proof of liability insurance (please see here for insurance requirements) as well as having all personnel that will be on campus go through a district volunteer background check at Volunteer Registration.  You can also visit Campus Visitors for information from the PIE office.
