This article will cover privacy settings and the methods for sharing YuJa videos.
Note: By default, privacy settings are set to Public. This setting allows for easy sharing within and outside of CourseDen. Refer to the section titled Video Privacy Settings for guidance on adjusting settings.
Locate the video within the Manage Media area of YuJa
Hover the mouse over the video to reveal the menu
Select More
Click Links from the side menu
Click Security Settings
Make adjustments to the desired security settings
Click Save
Private: Disables access to the video URL and embeds.
Public: Anyone with the URL has access to view. Similar to YouTube Unlisted.
Additional Restrictions to Public Security
Password or Authentication Restriction: Either require viewers logged in with UWG credentials or type a simple password for viewing access
Note: There are known issues with Single Sign On requirements on videos for Apple devices accessing videos inside CourseDen. Sharing authentication required videos with Apple devices outside of CourseDen functions properly.
Date Restriction: Set a date range that videos will be available and unavailable
IP Range and Address: Not recommended, this feature will limit access to a specific network
Location Restriction: Limits access to Country and Region. For example, USA and Georgia only.
Domain Restriction: Limits access within a certain domain. For example, viewing is only available while visiting westga.yuja.com.
Note: When sharing a video with someone so they can post and share with others, the access must be set to ‘Edit Access’ or ‘Full Access’
Locate the video within the Media Library
Hover the mouse over the video to reveal the menu
Select Share
Type the person’s name
Note: Individuals you are sharing videos with must have a YuJa account.
Click the dropdown menu to configure access
Read Only: Allow them to access and view the media
Edit Access: Allow them to access and make changes to the media
Full Access: Allow them to access, make changes, and delete media
Click Share
Verify the name and access at the bottom
Click Save
Locate the video within the Manage Media area of YuJa
Hover the mouse over the video to reveal the menu
Select More
Click Links from the side menu
Click the Copy button next to the Direct Link URL
Navigate to the YuJa Media Library
Click the New Folder button
Type a name for the folder
Click Save
Click, Hold, and Drag each video to be shared into the newly created folder
Note: Bulk move videos by highlighting a group of videos, then click More Actions, then Select Bulk Move
Hover the mouse over the folder
Click on the Settings gear icon once it appears
Select More
Click Links
Click on the Copy Link button next to the direct link
Open the desired course on CourseDen
Click Content from the course navigation bar
Click on the corresponding module for the video
Click Existing Activities
Select Insert YuJa Video
Click on the video to post from the list
Click Insert Content
Preview the chosen video
Click Insert
Click on the Insert Stuff button located in a text editor
Select YuJa Media Chooser
Click on a video within the pop up window
Click Insert Content
Review the selection is correct
Click Insert
