This article will cover creating and managing groups within YuJa. Groups are also labeled as a ‘class’ in some areas of YuJa. Groups/classes are required to be able to publish a video quiz that records scores.
Note: Groups are automatically created in YuJa after clicking on the YuJa Media Library within a course on CourseDen. Students are not automatically added when a group is created.
Open a course in GoView
Click Communications in the course navigation bar
Select My Media (YuJa)
The group has now automatically created. Guide students to follow the same steps to be added to the group.
Reminder: Students are not automatically added when a group is created. Students need to open the YuJa Media Library from within the specific course to be added to the class on YuJa.
Open the YuJa Media Library through GoView
Click the Waffle menu in the top right corner
Select Courses & Groups
Click Add Group
Type the appropriate information for group name, code (optional), and section or term (optional).
Click Create Your Group
Click Add People to add members of the UWG community to the group.

Type the names of each person
Click on the correct name to add them to the invitation list
Click Send Invitations when done creating an invitation list
Instruct everyone to check their email for the group invitation link
Open the YuJa Media Library through GoView
Click the Waffle menu in the top right corner
Select Courses & Groups
Click the group name from the Available Groups list in the left panel
Click Members from the group menu bar
The Lock will lock the membership level of a group member.
The Promote button will upgrade a member’s role to instructor for the group.
The Demote button will move a member’s role down to group member.
The ‘X’ will remove a member from the group.
Open the YuJa Media Library through GoView
Click the Waffle menu in the top right corner
Select Courses & Groups
Click the group name from the Available Groups list in the left panel
Click Invite

login.
Type the names of each person
