YuJa Media Library Interface

1. Search bar: The search feature in YuJa has two searching options, visual and advanced. Visual search will return results of a query based on all elements (captions, audio, slides, etc.). Advanced search will return more precise results of a query based on the query syntax.

2. Personal media: All folder structures individually owned within YuJa.

3. Shared media: Public and privately shared media with your YuJa account.

4. Media organizer: Depending on folder selection from the left panel, the media organizer displays all files and associated folders. Drag-and-drop functionality is available to manually move media between folders.

5. Main menu: Navigation points for Usage & Analytics and Courses & Groups.

Managing Media

Applying Tags to a Video

1. Hover the cursor over a video to reveal a menu.

2. Select More.

3. Type two or more characters for a tag.

4. Press Enter after each tag.

5. When done, Click Save General.

Applying Tags to Multiple Videos

1. Click, Hold, and Drag the cursor to select multiple files in the media organizer space.

2. Click More Actions.

3. Select Bulk Tag.

4. Type two or more characters for a tag to apply to the selected media.

5. Press Enter after each tag.

6. When done, Click Save.

Searching Videos by Tag

1. Click the Caret by the Search Bar to reveal a search menu.

2. Click the checkbox to disable Visual Search.

3. Type a prefix of “tag:” with the desired search term.
   
   Note: Do not include a space between tag: and the tag.

4. Press Enter.

Advanced Search for Media

1. Navigate to the YuJa media library.

   • Click Communications.

   • Select YuJa (Media Library).

2. Click the Advanced Search Icon to the right of the search bar. 

3. Configure each row of the Advanced Search Console.

4. Click the + sign button to add advanced criteria to the search.

5. Click Search.

Search Variables:

• • • Title: Searches by title or words within media titles.

    • After: Searches for media published after a specific date.

    • Before: Searches for media published before a specific date.

    • Caption: Searches by text within captions based on chosen language.

    • Channel: Searches for media in certain channels

    • Comment: Searches for text within comments left on a video. Comments are disabled by default.

    • Description: Searches for media based on text in the media description.

    • Folder: Searches for media in certain folders.

    • Metadata: Not configured for the UWG platform.

    • OCR: Scans for media based on the table of contents and visual index.

    • Owner: Searches for media based on the original owner. Recommend using last names.

    • PID: Searches for media based on the direct link.

    • Tags: Searches for media based on tags.

    • Transcript: Searches for media based on text in the transcript.

    • Type: Searches for media based on type, file or video.

Moving Media to a Folder

Drag-and-drop functionality is available in the YuJa Media Library. Individual or multiple files can be moved by drag-and-drop to folders in the Personal side panel or folders in the Media Library. Dragging a video to a folder under the Shared section of the side panel will publish the video to that location.

Uploading Media

Note: Media can be uploaded in bulk using the drag-and-drop feature within the upload pop-up window.

1. Click Upload.

2. Select the media type from the options across the top of the pop-up window.

3. (Optional) Type Tags in the Add Tags text box before uploading.

4. (Optional) Configure Publish destination and Captions with the buttons next to Actions.

5. Click Browse or Drag-and-drop a file inside the box.

6. After uploading, the process automatically begins and minimizes to the bottom of the screen.
