Schoology is a learning management system (LMS) that acts as an online classroom, where teachers can assign work, conduct class discussions, or post resources for student access. As a parent, you can create a Schoology account, and link your children to your account so that you can see the assignments that have been given to them and the work that they have submitted. (To do this, you will need your child's parent access code from their school, or the code can be found when you log into PowerSchool- see image at left - and register the parent account here). Once an account is created, Parents and students may access Westerville's Schoology account via www.westerville.k12.oh.us. Find the Schoology link in the top right corner. Follow the link to either your parent or student account. Schoology has an app that can be used on smartphones or tablets. [iOS / Android / Chrome] (If you need help setting up your account, watch this or read this and this. Also, here is a parent account overview.)

Your parent account remains tied to your child(ren) throughout the time they spend in Westerville. Your homepage will also display announcements from any buildings that your child(ren) were associated with. Parent accounts should have been updated to your child's new school for this year, but if you are seeing announcements from a school they no longer attend, you can request to update your building association here.
