Google is a major digital product that helps to support many of the other programs and apps used in Westerville City Schools. The Google Workspace suite includes the following apps

Gmail: Email for both teachers and students *Note there are restrictions on sending and receiving emails depending on the grade level of the student. 

Google Drive: Cloud Storage for files, photos, videos, etc. 

Google Docs: Word processing program that allows shared, live editing

Google Sheets: Spreadsheet program that allows shared, live editing

Google Slides: Slideshow program that allows shared, live editing

Google Meet: Video chat platform that allows virtual meetings supported by other Workspace apps. 

There are a number of other apps that are available as well including: Drawings (basic graphic design/editing), Sites (web designer), Calendar (calendar and appointment app), Keep (online sticky notes and reminders), Maps and Earth (interactive maps and geography), Photos, YouTube, Chat,  and many more. Many of them can be used to make lessons more interactive or to help with student and teacher organization. More information on many of the applications of these programs are below.
