For my first Model United Nations, I was feeling very prepared as I went through the club activities that were provided for me. However, I still felt very nervous as it was my first time hoping I wouldn't mess up on public speaking and this was also the very first big activity I did when moving on to high school. The committee I was chosen to work in was HSC (Historical security council). I personally really like history so that tied in with the current events and that helped me with participating as a member in my committee. Overall I learned to be a better public speaker and to voice out my ideas as an individual and as the country I represented. One takeaway was creating bonds with more people what have the same interest as me and my experience to not be so shy for public speaking.
