You can protect your yard from ticks by putting some mulch around your yard. Even small things in landscaping can help avoid ticks. The only way ticks can get into your yard is for animals to cross over. To avoid that problem, stop putting bird feeders, leaving out, food, etc. Don’t use a spray to get rid of ticks, as it hurts the environment greatly. If they make one that is environmentally friendly, then go for it!
