Ticked Off

One of the main reasons why Lyme Disease is spreading world wide is because of ticks. If you don’t know, Lyme Disease is a disease that gives flu-like symptoms, but much, much worse than the flu. Some of the symptoms are joint pain, muscle weakness, nausea, fever, fatigue (slowness), vertigo (dizziness), etc. Ticks have also increased in numbers! Did you know that 200,000 US cases of Lyme Disease currently happen each year? Well according to Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention (CDC), in 2015 there were only 30,000 cases, and its been increasing as the years tick up. This proves how much the population of ticks have grown, and how people are so unaware of this growing epidemic.
