One way you can help is to set up mouse traps around your house. The mice can easily be caught if you put peanut butter and/or cheese on the traps. You can see how many ticks it has, and you can send the ticks to tick scientists. You can also simply get a cat. If you get a cat, the cats scent will totally scare away any mice lurking around. Therefore, you won't get a tick!
