We spent most of our first quarter studying factors and multiples, the building blocks of mathematics. Multiples are the product of two or more factors; factors are whole numbers that multiply into (you guessed it) multiples. The most important thing to remember about factors and multiples are Least Common Multiples (LCM) and Greatest Common Factors (GCF) and how to find them. Knowing Prime Factorization can help you do that.
