College Admissions Testing

The CEEB code is a College Board code number used to register for an SAT or ACT tests and to send score reports to colleges.

Students may pay SAT fees directly by registering at www.CollegeBoard.org or ACT fees by registering at www.ACT.org. Students who receive free or reduced lunch may see their School Counselor for a fee waiver.

PSAT- All WHS eighth graders, freshmen, sophomores and juniors will take the PSAT in October. Theses scores will be used to approximate how a student will perform on the SAT. Juniors will compete in the National Merit Scholarship competition as well. Students will receive a detailed reporting of their score as well as their answers to the test in December.

SAT I - Critical Reading, Mathematics, optional Writing components

SAT II - Subject Tests— One hour examinations in specific subjects (only required by the most selective colleges)

The SATs are administered at Weehawken High School in October, March and May and offered in other schools in November, December, January, and March.

The ACTs are administered at Weehawken High School in April and offered in other schools in October, November, December, January, and March and May.
