The Web Summit attendee hub and app let you connect with attendees, set up meetings and discover a selection of curated and intimate community gatherings called ‘Meetups’.
Here's how we do it:
Log in to the Web Summit attendee hub with your email address and complete your profile.
Search and filter attendees/companies on the Discover tab by industry, country and much more.
Click on the attendee or company you wish to meet and give a short intro or description about why you want to connect.
Hit the show interest button, and your request is sent!
Requestees will receive an email letting them know they have a meeting request. Once they accept, we’ll work our magic and suggest a time for you both to meet which you can accept or reject through the Attendee hub.
Notes:
Once you accept the meeting timeslot, it will be added to your personal schedule, which you can see through the Web Summit mobile app
Attendees can only request meetings with you once you’ve completed your profile
Check the ‘Requests’ tab on the attendee hub to see if anyone has requested meetings with you
If the meeting timeslot allocated to you doesn’t suit, you can reject the suggested timeslot through the Attendee hub and a new one will be assigned to you
If you are meeting with another speaker, you can arrange to meet in our Speaker Lounge or in one of our speaker meeting rooms at the event, which are available on a first come first served basis.
