Wednesday February 3 is a Remote Learning Day - no live teaching. We will be available by email or Talking Points.

9:15 LIVE LESSON- We will focus on the character strength of Prudence.

9:30 Math Live Lesson- We will continue our unit on building fluency with multiplication with a focus on the facts of 7s, 8s, and 9s. Students will need to continue to take their timed quizzes during their independent work times.

10:45 EL LIVE LESSON- We will focus on parts of speech this week: comparative and superlative adjectives and adverbs. We will be learning them in isolation and then applying them to our pourquoi tales that we wrote last week. Friday, students will take their middle of the year benchmark assessment for iStation and we will have a Frog Festival in the afternoon where all the students will share the pourquoi tales they have been working on the past couple of weeks.

12:40 Intervention & Enrichment - Students will listen to a read aloud of "Edward Tulane", practice Dreambox and iStation, and work on any other unfinished work.

1:05 Specials This week is Spanish.

1:35-2:35 SMALL GROUP TIME - Students will spend 30 minutes in a small group with either Mrs. Olynick or Mrs. Perrott working on reading activities. When working independently they will work on their Week 15 Packet, unfinished work, read to self, and explore the new website, Freckle.

3:15 SCIENCE We will continue the three states of matter unit, with a focus on the structure and properties of matter. On Monday, students will take a short quiz. All science is asynchronous. However, the teachers are logged on to the Meet each day from 3:15-3:45 for support.
