If you already have a plan for your individual class or grade level and it meets the criteria provided by WCPS, you may continue that plan. Teachers need to ensure that their plans are simple, sustainable, and allow teachers to provide feedback on student work. Teachers who are using Google Classroom (or Canvas) can continue using their preferred platform, ensuring it aligns to the criteria provided.

HOW TO: Invite Guardians in Google Classroom

Steps for teachers:

Go to your Google Classroom.
Click “Students”
Next to the student click “Invite Guardian”
Type guardian's email address into the text box. ( there is no way to bulk edit guardian emails. Also, you can add additional parent/guardians)
Click “Invite”
