WCPS-issued Chromebooks are set to automatically update to the latest version of the Chrome OS. If the Chromebook has been turned off for awhile, then you may need to trigger an update yourself.
While you are logged into your Chromebook:
At the bottom right, select the time.
Select Settings .
At the bottom of the left panel, select About Chrome OS.
Under "Google Chrome OS," you'll find which version of the Chrome operating system your Chromebook uses.
Select Check for updates.
If your Chromebook finds a software update, it will start to download automatically.
Please restart the computer if it asks to do so.
