Our Values
We protect traditions that build community, progress, and school culture - and commit to growing through reflection, feedback, and learning.
Trust starts with consistent, respectful action - and thrives when we create solutions and deliver on them together.
Have honest conversations with kindness, clarity and care for others.
Challenges are opportunities that we can grow through - and we show belief in one another’s potential by listening, supporting, and taking timely action together.
We commit to doing what’s best for our learners through thoughtful decisions that are grounded in shared values, identified needs, and consistent, evidence-based practice - even when it’s challenging.
Build pride by celebrating the everyday, not just the milestones.
We are excited to welcome students and families
into a new year of growth, learning, and leadership!
Wayland-Cohocton is a Leader in Me® school.
We use the 7 Habits of Happy Kids to support student leadership and life skills.
Students explore all 7 habits in September, then focus on one habit each month from October through May.
In June, we celebrate our growth and development as leaders.
