Dear Parents,
As we move into the final weeks of May, it is time to say goodbye and that seems harder than ever now. We haven't seen our students for almost two months and there really isn't a way to say goodbye. However, we are so proud of everything the students and you as parents have done to stay on track academically.
Our tip for moving into summer: Stay school-focused as much as possible.
With remote learning, your students will have been away from school and direct instruction for almost four months. There is always the normal summer slip back, but we are at risk for more than that. To help with that, there are easy things you can do to help avoid that.
Have your child read for at least 30 minutes every day.
Have your child work on math facts at least 3-4 times each week.
Have your child keep a summer adventure journal.
