Yesterday (sung to the tune Yesterday by the Beatles)
Yesterday, Covid-19 seemed so far away But it crossed the sea and came to stay Oh, I believe in yesterdaySuddenly, I can't find a roll of dang TP!!!!Walmart shelves are lookin' so empty,Oh, yesterday there was plenty.Now, i'm staying in and my friends all keep awayI've watched frozen 2 twenty times on replay.Yesterday, I would wash my hands just once a day,Now they’re chapped and peeling all away.Oh, how I miss that yesterday. When, schools, had to close I was psyched, now bored to tears.Groups of more than 12 are outlawed until this clears. Yesterday, a pandemic seemed like child's play, Who knew bats could bring on this doomsdayOh, let's go back to yesterday.

Home Schooled
This whole thing started ‘bout two weeks ago.Expectations were high but feelings were low.
The spring break plans changed and went southI feel like a boxer that got punched in the mouth.
They gave me new teachers, mom and dadThey struggle helping me and just seemed mad
I dreamed of the day I could stay home from schoolBut covid-19 you ain't cool.
So, shout out to teachers for teaching us rightIf things settle down we will be back to school, we just might.
