All visitors are to report to the main office.
Students may not bring friends or relatives (who are not enrolled as SCHS students) to attend school with them.
Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend classes with their student anytime; however, we request that parents schedule these visits with school administrators and teachers.
A person on campus without permission may be cited for trespassing.
The Washington County School District is committed to maintaining safe, secure, and orderly school campuses. To protect students, staff, and school property, the district strictly regulates access to all school buildings and grounds.
Unauthorized Use Prohibited: Any unauthorized or improper use of Washington County School District property is strictly forbidden.
Law Enforcement Authority: The School Board explicitly grants local law enforcement agencies the authority to enforce all state and local trespass, loitering, traffic, and parking laws on all district properties.
Right to Search: To ensure campus safety, all persons and vehicles entering school property are subject to search by school administration or law enforcement if there is reasonable suspicion of a safety or policy violation.
What this means for students and visitors: You must have a legitimate, school-sanctioned reason to be on campus. Loitering, entering restricted areas without permission, or utilizing school grounds without authorization can result in immediate removal, school discipline, or criminal trespassing citations from local law enforcement.
