Return to Marching Band
The magic of the movies captivates us--never more so than through the fantasy stories we enjoy as children. Grab your broom and fly with us to join Dumbledore's Army, to check in on the family Madrigal, and to look to the Wicked western skies.
The 2025 Waynesboro Area Senior High School Marching Band students are led on the field by senior drum majors Kirin C. and Emma T., with junior drum major Wren F., executive officer Katherine D., and master sergeants Paige C. & Oliver G.
Band Staff
Director: Chris Ritter
Assistant Director: Christine Metcalfe
Color Guard writing and instruction by Karen McCrea, Lexi Bowie, and April Hanosek
Percussion writing and instruction by Kevin Williams and Ryne Hollingsworth
Special Thanks
To our student support team, who are members from outside of our normal pool of performing musicians. If you are a current WASHS student and would like to be included, we are seeking equipment managers and prop specialists for our competitive guard and indoor percussion winter seasons.
Thanks to WASBA (our music booster organization) …and, of course:
The Boro Nation, Go Boro!
Drum majors Kirin C. and Emma T., is your band ready?
(salute)
Please take the field for Movie Magic.
("Action")
In performance we'll hear a featured flute solo from senior Katie B. and additional moments from Leah Y. on mellophone and Paige C., trumpet.
