Description:
Voice refers to the quality, pitch, and loudness of a student's voice relative to his/her age, gender, or cultural background.
Activities:
Have your child use an appropriate volume level when speaking throughout the day (i.e. inside voice vs. outside voice).
Have your child use good vocal hygiene strategies that were discussed during your child's speech-language therapy sessions (i.e. avoid throat clearing, avoid yelling, drink lots of water, etc.).
