Description:
Stuttering/Fluency Disorders are disruptions in the production of speech sounds, also called "disfluencies."
Activities:
Have your child practice fluent speech using therapist recommended strategies (i.e. slow and stretchy speech) while talking about their day, answering conversation questions, describing the steps to perform basic routines, etc.
Have your child practice fluent speech using therapist recommended strategies (i.e. slow and stretchy speech) while reading aloud from any book of choice for five minutes.
