Digital Storytelling
I wanted to create a story because I love to read and see the different climax and drama. I wanted to show that I have what it takes to make a story and have fun with it, and be creative also. I chose to do a choose your own adventure story because I think it is fun to have the option to choose what you want to do, and you can try again if you want to. In a regular story you might not like the ending and this way you get to pick everything you want.
I used google slides to do my story because I needed a lot of slides to do my storytelling project.
For the images, I looked online for inspiration and then drew and colored each image. After I had the picture, I took a picture of it on my Chromebook, then used remove.bg to take out the background. Then I pasted the image onto the page of the story I wanted.
Each slide tells part of the story. Each slide is linked to the choice you make. I linked all the slides together by double tapping the mouse and going down to the link button and putting the slide number of where I wanted each link to go. I tested the links to make sure they worked.
I enjoyed the whole experience because I love to make cool bosses and cool allies you might have or defeat. I also loved to ask some people what some cool bosses or allies they wanted to see, so I could get some good popular choices.
Doing this project, I learned how to link slides, and I learned how to take a picture and upload that to my slides. I also had a problem to solve, I had to take a picture on a chromebook, but if you don’t have the same chromebook then you can’t upload the images on another chromebook. You would have to retake the pictures and add them on the slides.
