work based learning (WBL)

Do you have a job? Would you like to participate in an internship? Would you like to earn high school credit while leaving school early to go to an approved work site?

LINK TO WBL APPLICATION

Work-Based Learning placements represent the pinnacle of the Career-Related Education experience. To qualify for a WBL placement, a student must be in the 11th or 12th grade, at least 16 years old and have their own transportation among other qualifications that can be found at the WBL application link above.  An ideal candidate for the program would be one that has completed one of the CTAE pathways, has a job placement that is directly related to the pathway classes they have taken and wishes to pursue post-secondary opportunities in the related area. All interested students should see Ms. Lisa Head in room F808 with any questions and to pick up an application.

Elective Course Offerings change yearly based on the needs of our students, information from the Georgia Department of Education and staffing, etc.
