Test Optional and Test Free Colleges
Many Colleges and Universities no longer require students to submit SAT or ACT scores with their applications. The list continues to grow. Which schools are in this group, and which still require test scores to be submitted? FairTest has put together a great online resource that lists the 1,800+ Test-Optional schools and the 80+schools that are entirely Test-Free. As the restrictions column indicates, some schools only exempt applicants who meet minimum grade or class rank criteria; others use ACT/SAT scores solely for course placement. Here is list of all the colleges featured in The College Tour TV series. In this spreadsheet, there is a tab to search by TV SEASON, or you can search by STATE. There are over 110 episodes on colleges across 36 states. There are episodes on big state Universities, small private colleges, Community Colleges, HBCUs, and Christian Colleges, and even Spanish-language episodes.

GATransfer provides college credit transfer tools that high school counselors can use to help students determine which colleges in Georgia will accept their exam scores and dual enrollment credit for course credit. We want to offer you online training to introduce you to the tools and how you can use them to assist your students. We will demonstrate the following tools:
College Credit Transfer Tool: The College Credit Transfer Tool is available to anyone who wants to explore college credit transfer opportunities at Georgia’s colleges and universities. It is linked to the GAfutures website and requires a GAfutures free user account (https://portal.gatracs.org/).
Exam to College Course Tool: The Exam to College Credit Tool is available to anyone who wants to determine which Georgia colleges and universities accept high school and college exam scores for credit. Find it on the Georgia Transfer website (https://www.gatransfer.org/tools/find-exam-score-transfer-credit).
