The following are specific considerations regarding 9th grade schedules:
Students recommended for AP Biology will not be scheduled for a Science class in the 9th grade year, and should plan to take 2 blocks of Biology in the 10th grade year as part of the AP Biology course.
Students recommended for Honors Math and AP Biology will take 2 blocks of Math in 9th grade, as the master schedule permits.
We do our best to schedule students who are scheduled for AP Human Geography in the spring term to be scheduled for Adv World History in the fall term. This is not always possible due to the master schedule and the student's individual course needs.
Elective options are limited with any schedule, and students’ elective classes may include classes beyond what was indicated on the elective preference form.
Health Personal Fitness is a requirement for graduation that students take during their freshman year.
9th Grade literature will be called Literature I starting in the fall
