The resources below are provided to assist VVUHSD CTE teachers with guidance and directions for materials on grant reporting needs and maintaining a high-quality CTE program.
Advisories are a group of local business and community professionals, teachers, students, administrators, and parents to support educators, students, and businesses in developing, establishing, and evaluating CTE programs to ensure students are well-prepared for the world of work.
Articulation Agreements between Victor Valley College (VVC) and Victor Valley Union High School District (VVUHSD) allow students the opportunity to earn college credits while completing their articulated CTE courses.
CTE Completers are any student who graduated from secondary education and completed a CTE sequence (2 years or 1 year of a block class). Courses of 300 hours or more, and passed the capstone course (C- or better).
Industry Conferences are encouraged for our CTE teachers to attend to expand their knowledge and skill sets with current industry trends. Education Conferences are also encouraged for our CTE teachers to attend to learn new teaching practices and up-to-date CTE practices.
Field Trips enrich and expand the curriculum, strengthen observation skills by immersing students in activities, and allow students to observe real-world situations.

Industry-recognized certifications give students tangible proof of the skills and knowledge they learn in CTE courses and that employers and industries want. Ask your CTE teacher about which specific Industry Exam they offer.
All CTE equipment and technology purchased using CTE grants must be inventoried using our district inventory system. Inventory is done annually with periodic walk-through checks from the administration.
