Parking Services

Administrative personnel is responsible for securing guest parking passes for visitors as requested by ISE personnel.  Please email isefinance@vt.edu for passes.

To secure passes, an ISR will be routed through HokieMart by the Finance team. 

Per the parking services website, "All first-time new employees of the university are eligible for a free Temporary Parking Permit. The new employee Temporary Parking Permit is valid for no more than 30 calendar days, beginning with the first day of paid employment."

Per the parking services website, "All those without a parking permit will need to pay to park on the Blacksburg campus effective Aug. 3, 2020, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. through 10 p.m. Visitors can use the ParkMobile app or daily permits can be purchased online and in-person at Parking Services at 505 Beamer Way (multiple daily permits may be purchased at once in-person). There are also hourly parking meters located across campus. View the Virginia Tech Parking Map for meter and parking lot locations. Admissions visitors should contact the Visitor Center for more information."

First, we recommend visiting Maps & Garages for more information on faculty/staff and student parking. Most ISE personnel park in the following locations, all of which require a parking pass:

• Perry Street Garage (behind Durham, entering from Prices Fork)

• North End Center (near Zaxby's)

• The Drillfield

Note: university rules prohibit the department from paying parking tickets for visitors or ISE personnel.
