Key Control and Hokie Passport Access
In compliance with Policy 5620: Access Control: Key Control, ISE key issuance is maintained by the Finance and Operations team. When an employee is issued a key, each employee will complete a key form indicating their understanding of the policy and necessity for control.
All ISE employees receive one key that opens all shared access doors (suite entrances, hallways, work rooms, mail room, conference room). Those who have individual offices also receive a key to their office.
Public access to ISE offices is limited to Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Outside of these times the main access (suite) doors will be locked.
Report loss or theft of a key to isefacilities@vt.edu immediately.
There are designated spaces throughout ISE that are accessible via Hokie Passport swipe or touchpad combination locks.
ISE employees and students who need access to spaces controlled by Hokie Passport swipe can make a request from the ISE Facilities Manger by clicking the Facilities Request link at the top of this page.
The spaces with access controlled by touchpad combination locks will be reset automatically each semester by the ISE Facilities Manager. The new passcode/combination will be provided to the ISE Faculty member assigned to the space to disseminate among students approved to use the space.
