Reflection
From this process, I learned about the injustice in the White Terror, and how it affected people in Taiwan. We want to creating a game based on the White Terror, and want people to learned the important of freedom of speech.I realized that storytelling will be a more powerful way to teach about the history and the right. In the game, you can explore the game and give your own personal choices, these choose lead to a different ending.
I helped to write the Starting point and the storyboard, focusing on the player's arrest. I also contributed some idea for the different ending based on the character's choices.
Reflection 2
From this process, I have learned about the injustice that indigenous people have faced. So we want to create a game that allows people to experience the life of indigenous people. Han people often struggle to understand the injustices people have faced. In the game, players can choose different options and earn points to achieve various endings.
I
contributed by helping to refine the description of the gameplay mechanics, ensuring the explanation of earning different points and using chance points was clear and easy to understand.

Reflection 3
From this process, I have learned about the migrant, and the injustice they have, so we have plan to made a interaction game. To help player to understand them, and feel the empathy with them. Our game is a three person 2d game, we can talk with NPC, and we have some small mission that could some. These event can it base on the real event that migrant faced, it could make player have more empathy and make the game more real. This game, we only have one ending, changing the law to a more full law.
I contributed on planning gameplay, the theme, ending, and mechanic. We have change a lot of version of gameplay, we mostly all give different suggest, so we make it all together.
Reflection 4
In this final outline, when have choose the topic White Terror as our final project. We don't change a lot of things, we just add more detail on our game, find some real event and source to support our game.We have change some theme in the story but the basic gameplay we have keep. And we base on other feedback, we have change something, many student say that we could have a more clear ending, so we did, we change the ending to more clear, the feedback help us a lot.But overall we just make the game more detail.
I have contributed in what we could change between the original outline and the final outline.I have give out many question that we game could have to our teammate, and we try to solve it together. And I have found some content that we could put inside of our outline.
In the interview, the person said they already knew about the White Terro and were interested in our game. They felt that the choices in the game could help players understand what people went through that time. They said they would choose to stay silent in the interrogation scene, because he felt this is the most safest, even though it has bad results. They also suggested improving the game's look by adding more images, and using a more serious font.
The biggest thing we learned about is that game needs a stronger atmosphere so players can feel seriousness of the White Terror period. Because of this, we decided to change the font and add more visuals to fill the empty space. I think this will make the game feel more believable and engaging.
Reflection
First from our game, we make our first outline for the game, and also the PechaKucha about White Terror, other student has give us the feedback. When we have do a lot of reasearch from government website, these sources give us many story that happen in Whiter Terror period.Next we have do the concept test, we have interview other students and let them give us feedback, some of the student say that our word type should be more serious, and some say other ending are not very clear. So we fix a lot from other concept. For real doing our video game, we first started using Unity to do our game, but we think it too diffcult. So we have chose Scratch at last, it reall more easier than Unity. For our whole game, we have finished at time, we are pretty proud of that.Overall in this PBL I have learn a lot, like different topics have let me learn new things and get my interest. We have learn things that usually don't use in daily life, but it also important to knew about. And I have learned about how to use Unity and Scratch.I have done this programming class before, so it pretty fresh to me, and I have a good interest on it.
If we have a chance that we could redo this project, we will choose to do more time management, because we have first planned that we will do the moving character part, but a last we don't have a lot of time to do it.Mostly we want to more and more full at the time we have planned, but when we started to do it, we are pretty rush.So the time management it important to us, we want to change and have a better time management next time.
After this PBL, I will still want to know about more social justice topic, no matter is doing programming or not, I think know about things that usually will not know is more important. And in future I still want to stay with our group, our group don't have any conflict in between, I think we collborate well, so in the future I still want to still with my group.
