This test are focus on using substitution and elimination to solve the system of equation, and word problem.We need to define the variable.And we need to solve the standard form and the intersect-form equation.

And there are still some problems in the test. The problem mostly happens in word questions. I have assumed something I don't need, and some small calculation and unit mistakes. And in the test, I wasted too much time on the word question; I took half of the test time to do the word question, because I didn't know how to do it

I think the part that I need to improve is that I need to double-check my work. Sometimes I'm very confident in my answer, but there may be some mistakes between, so the best part is not to let it happen, so just double-check it.
Class-Specific 1: Conceptual Understanding of Mathematics
I have understood about substitution, I understood about how it use correctly, most usefully. I could use substitution to explain every part how to solve, and calculate very fast.

For the unfamiliar part, I could easily think how to solve it. In the word problem, I can easily set for the different variables, and I could solve the question using different formula,

In my answer, I have always using the correct notation, language, and the step of solving the equation.And my answer and my work, are pretty easy to see and check.
The food truck assignments are very similar to the assignment I did in Shanghai. In Shanghai, we will design a restaurant and calculate all the costs, selling price, profit margin, break-even point, store rent, utilities, and the sales volume required to start making a profit. I think this project is a little bit different from the food truck project; the restaurant project is very free, you can set the price and anything else you want. I remember that our group designed a hotpot restaurant. But there was some problem at first, we had too many employees, and the selling price was very low, the money we earned couldn't pay the salary of the employees, so we needed to fix everything.😭😭😭

For out food truck, we are doing American food. We could change the type of food to India food, we can try is't popular or not.And I don't take India food a lot, so I'm very interesting in making a India food truck.

In the future, when I start a business, I have learned about the making money, profit, losing money, break-even point, these things. It help me to have more experience on the business, it could make the business more complete and not losing money.
We have chosen plan A for our food truck, because even they have met at the (1,6) , but at the back plan A is (2,8) and plan B is (2,10) it means the slope of plan B is steeper than plan A, it means that there will be more cost if we got more food truck.For the long terms plan A is more cheaper than plan B.We choose American food because American food is special for food like burgers, fries, hotdogs, etc.And these types of food are very popular in modern, it was very fast, and we can eat it at everywhere.We could have a steady demand in diverse locations such as business districts, parks, and events.We will buy a green food truck, it was more cheaper than the blue one, after the repair it cost 82000+5937.50=87937.50, it still cheaper than the blue truck, and we do the employees by ourselves, so the money of employees it on our own part, not on the cost of the food truck.So we chose the green food truck.And for the ads, we have 3 social media ads for every one newspaper ad, so it mean the ratio of social media and newspaper is 3:1. And we total 24 ads, time to 3:1, which means that we have 18 social media and 6 newspaper ads.We doing like this is because now the internet is very developed, there don’t have many people choosing newspaper than the news on the phone.For the parking, we have purchased 26 parking hours, the cost of weekday hours cost 2/hrs, and the weekend parking cost is 10/hrs. And we totalled 220. We have 5 hours on the weekday, and 10 hours on the weekend. We choose this because, even though the cost of the weekend is more expensive than the weekday, there will be more consumers on the weekend, because they could have rest, it 100% have more consumers on the weekend than the weekday.So we could have more sales on the weekend.And the menu item, we have make most of the sell on Caesar salad and icecream, so it means that we could make more number of item on these two item.
Reflection
In this unit, I have learned about systems of equations, and we have learned how to use different methods to solve systems of equations. Solve for the variables and the intersection of the system of equations. I think in this unit, it was all basic things, and we are just reviewing the knowledge we already have. I think the hardest part is that I learned this in the past, but with the Chinese version, so I need to know about the terms and the words of math in English, which was pretty hard. But I knew the basic concept of these, so mostly it was easy for me. I think the part that I need to improve is that I need to double-check my work. Sometimes I'm very confident in my answer, but there may be some mistakes between, so the best part is not to let it happen, so just double-check it. For the future, I want to learned some new math questions and concepts that I haven't learned before, for example, algebra 2, trigonometry, things like that.
