Final Project

From this project, I learnt the history and geography of Haiti. I learnt that present day Haiti is taken over by gangs and that the government is doing nothing about it. I also learnt that there was a huge war between Haiti and colonial powers trying to capture their land. My groupmates were a large part of this, helping me with different parts of the project and sending me resources with useful information. A lot of my learning came from the resources that we distributed between each other (videos, websites, etc.). I hope to be able to learn this much during natural sciences next semester.

This project will be able to help me with natural sciences next semester as I feel like it has taught me the importance of actually doing your work on time. It will also help me in future geography classes as it has taught me the basics to geography which will help me in understanding more complicated concepts.
