For the road trip project, we had to calculate the distance and midpoints between different cities that we would take a road trip between. We also had to calculate how much longer it would take to take traditional driving routes compared to just drawing a straight line between each city. The final thing we had to do was explain why we wanted to go to each location we chose.
These formulas will be important if I ever have to calculate the distance or the midpoint between two locations. This could happen if I ever lose access to google maps or other mapping tools that do the work for me.
Some improvements I could make are spacing my work out on my notebook more. I feel like the work on my notebook was more messy than it should have been. I also need to get used to putting the numbers into the equations because I sometimes mess up and need to restart, wasting a lot of time.
