Deadlines, deadlines, deadlines. For prescreens, you need to keep very careful track of when schools are asking for you to send in your stuff. Usually, I would say the earlier the better. A lot of schools don’t tell you this, but they review the prescreens sent in on a first-come, first-served basis, which means that the closer you turn in your stuff to the deadline, the fewer spots are available for callbacks. However, I know how busy senior year gets, and if life gets in the way and you have to submit closer to the deadline than you would have preferred, DO NOT PANIC!! You’ll absolutely be fine. No matter what, your videos will be seen.
