If you decide to go to certain schools, sometimes they’ll offer you a place in an Honors program or a Leadership program. In these programs, you get special benefits like smaller classes, better housing options, special scholarships, and other very nice opportunities. If you’re a diligent learner, you could definitely benefit from being in one of these programs. 

Applications are separate from the actual college application, sometimes it does it automatically, but normally you have to write a few extra essays or answer a few extra questions to be considered for enrollment. 

Definitely consider this if you want to go to a big liberal arts school, but also before you apply, consider the balance of arts classes to liberal arts classes and how much free time you estimate you’ll have in each school’s theatre program.
