Welcome to the YourStudySurvival community!
My name is Hayley and Im the founder behind YourStudySurvival.
I started @YourStudySurvival because I needed this resource (desperately). I remember being so confused trying to find extracurriculars: with a billion tabs opened on my laptop and on the verge of giving up.
So I thought:
Why not build a resource that elimates this problem entirely?
And I figured if I had this problem, maybe you did too.
So I built: YourStudySurvival!
This started off as a tiny platform about a year ago, and I could not be more grateful into what it has turned into!
This website was completely designed by me and took over 4 months to complete! (Probably would have took less time if I didn't procrastinate so much lol)

What is YourStudySurvival?
A student-run platform helping Hong Kong students find volunteering, scholarships, competitions, and career opportunities, plus study tips and mental health resources.
How do you find these opportunities?
We research and vet them ourselves. We also have a team of student Opportunity Scouts who help find and submit opportunities.
How do I know if an opportunity is still open?
We do our best to keep everything updated, but we always recommend checking the official website or contacting the organizer directly before applying.
Can I submit an opportunity?
Yes! Fill out the form on our website or DM us on Instagram.
What's on the website?
350+ opportunities, study tips, mental health resources, a Student Corner, and a way to work with us.
Do I get a certificate if I work with you guys?
Yes. Contributors earn credits based on their work. Bronze, Silver, Gold (21 credits). Gold includes a reference letter from the founder. Additionally, you recieve leverage in future roles, as well as shoutouts and features on our "Student Corner" page.
Do I need experience?
No. We welcome students with any level of experience. We provide guidance and templates.
Are you affiliated with any organizations?
No. We're an independent student-run platform. We're not affiliated with any organizations we feature!
