Hands-on Workshop on Cold Spray Technology

We are pleased to announce a one-week long hands-on workshop on various aspects of Cold Spray Technology, being organized under the aegis of the DST-AMT Centre of Excellence. The workshop will entail expert lectures and hands-on demos on topics ranging from fundamentals of cold spray deposition to characterization, performance testing, and latest innovations in cold spray technology. It is targeted at everyone interested in cold spray research, right from graduate students to PhD scholars, faculty members, R&D lab researchers, and industry professionals.

Please note that participants need to pay registration fees as per their category as mentioned below. The account details to which payment is to be done are also mentioned below. Please make the payment, keep a screenshot of the payment and upload it when prompted in the registration form.

Accommodation

As the Workshop is 5-days long, participants are requested to arrange their accommodation for the same. 

Accommodation may  be available at IIT Ropar (Hostels/Guest House) on payment basis subject to availability. Please contact staff.anu.bhatia@iitrpr.ac.in to inquire.

Alternatively,  participants can explore the several hotels in Ropar city and book their accommodation. 

Reaching IIT Ropar

A note on reaching Ropar (Roopnagar) can be found at : http://www.iitrpr.ac.in/location.

The Workshop venue is IIT Ropar Main Campus (https://goo.gl/maps/1Bw6Dc5krSE2). 

IIT Ropar main campus is around 6-7 km from Ropar (Roopnagar) railway or bus station. 

The easiest way to reach IIT Ropar from the bus/train station is to hire an auto to main campus. An auto may charge approximately Rs. 150 for commutation from Bus/railway station to main campus.
