MD SHAD ALI
Shad completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from GEC Aurangabad, Bihar, and is pursuing his M.Tech in Manufacturing Engineering at IIT Ropar. His current research is centered on the Optimization of Dual Combustion HVAF coating processes, with emphasis on carbide-based coatings (WC-CoCr, Cr₃C₂-NiCr) on aluminum and steel substrates to improve wear resistance, durability, and surface performance. He has also executed projects on tool wear behavior in micro-EDM, process parameter optimization in deep drawing, and the design of an automated motorbike side-stand system. His expertise spans surface engineering, coating characterization (SEM-EDS, XRD, Optical Microscopy), and mechanical testing (microhardness, wear, fracture toughness).
Abhishek Kumar Singh holds a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering
Akhil Teja received his Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH), where his undergraduate project focused on CFD and Heat transfer analysis of a car radiator using magnesium oxide and graphene nanofluids. He then gained experience in manufacturing during his studies at IIT Ropar.
He is currently pursuing his Master’s research on developing advanced surface coatings to enhance heat dissipation in heat spreaders, integrating cold spray coating technology with CFD simulation for thermal performance optimization.
