• Developing thermal spray solutions for industry-specific problems (in collaboration with Applied Materials)

• Innovating pure rods of bio-compatible materials for easy feeding into wire flame spray system, leading to better coatings at lower costs 

• Optimizing various aspects of deposition of Nickel-Aluminum-Bronze for marine applications

• Innovating alternative manufacturing and deposition techniques 

• Corrosion and cavitation behaviour of cold sprayed WC-based composites
