Overview

Welcome to Your Lab, IIT Ropar, where we engage in cutting-edge research on surface engineering and advanced manufacturing. With a state-of-the-art Cold Spray facility, which is also a national facility, we endeavour to solve industrially and socially relevant problems by designing coatings-based solutions for them. Towards this we have multiple projects running in collaboration with industries and academic institutions. We are also involved in developing technologies for reutilizing waste, driven by student-proposed ideas. Our research has been received well in the national and international community, exemplified by our stellar record of peer-reviewed publications as well as granted patents. We have also built an impressive array of scientific instruments that can be availed by the research community.
