International gestures have been presented at several Peace Education Conferences, with the support and collaboration of the Galician Seminar of Peace Educators, SGEP.

Galiza, 1994

The international gestures were presented in a workshop that took place during the I European Conference on Education for Peace, which was held in July 1994 in Santiago de Compostela.

Vermont, USA, 1995

The V World Conference on Education for Peace, held in 1995 in Northfield, Vermont, USA, was an opportunity for the presentation of a workshop on the project, where educators from different parts of the world could learn to use and understand the signs and eventually they were even able to act as students by producing and presenting their own short sentences in different languages: Chinese, Arabic, and Swahili. Graz, Austrtia, 1998

The Third European Conference on Peace Education was held from 16 to 20 July 1998 in Graz, Austria.

The YoGoTe project coordinator made a presentation of the main features and objectives of the project to the Conference, making international signs at the same time.

Finally, he repeated the last sentences in Galician, as a practical way to show how the least used languages could benefit from these ideas to gain a presence in international events.
