Intercontinental Collaboration
The presentation of the project in the European Commission on Multilingualism, the Latin American parliament and the pan-African parliament opened the possibility of proposing the use of international signals for collaboration projects between different parts of the world. Proposals can be classified into the following levels:
-Local level:
Promotion of children's literacy in the mother tongue, especially in indigenous communities, ethnic groups, immigrant or itinerant families, and families who speak minority or less widely used languages. International gestures provide a common frame of reference for different languages and teaching methods, which helps to become literate later in the school language.
-National level:
Showing the richness and variety of languages and cultures that coexist in the same country Poems, songs or any other type of texts of cultural importance can be presented by students in the original languages and with international gestures.
-Continental level:
Promotion of multilingualism in a certain part of the world. Young people from different countries would have the opportunity to learn one or more languages spoken in other countries on their continent. International signs will be a common resource for teaching different languages.
-Intercontinental level:
Provide a space for collaboration between two or more continents or parts of the world. This will be a way to enhance direct dialogue between their peoples, as well as opening up new forms of exchange and business in a respectful perspective. People who have been from one part of the world to another (what is known as the diaspora) will be better accepted as a kind of cultural representative or ambassador and not just as refugees or displaced people.
