Where we highlight dedicated YES Alumni

All board members

The board has been working on the YES Address Book (A new initiative we are working on to reconnect with the older generation & the new one and to have an updated database), since day 1. We have been calling alumni, Whatsapp messaging them, hunting them on Facebook & involving alumni in every region in this process to help us collect information as much as we can. Here's our progress so far:

Congratulations to our Metn & Keserwan regional representative, Ali Akil. He was chosen to represent YES Lebanon in an international workshop “Designing for Inclusion, YES alumni Training of Trainers” that is taking place on March 16th till the 21st in Alexandria, Virginia. This workshop targets to support the YES program, including alumni programming, in becoming more inclusive and accessible to people with disabilities. Best of luck Ali! To more successful stories! Congratulations to our South regional representative, Mahdi Hallal, for being qualified to being one of the players traveling to Greece to compete with LAU Football Junior Team in a football competition hosted by American College of Greece in Athens. The tournament is composed of 32 teams from all over the world. Best of luck Mahdi! To more successful stories! Make us prouder and prouder!
