This chain had at least four music sirens, so they have been consolidated into one page.
When I heard that Toyota, the global car manufacturer, had a music siren, I was surprised, so I mistakenly thought it was at their Motomachi factory without doing research. When I heard that Toyota had MULTIPLE music sirens, I was similarly surprised, but to learn several were still in place? I was shocked. In mid-spring of 2026, we found at least three music sirens, and someone has gotten in contact with Toyota. I'm not sure how much I'm able to disclose, but I will say, there are more than four music sirens that Toyota supposedly bought. Supposedly, Toyota has plans to reactivate at least one music siren (whether it's one or multiple is unclear), so we'll have to wait and see what happens.
No schedules are known for any music siren yet, but we do know that most, if not, all are 8-note music sirens.
Toyota Honsha is Toyota's first and main factory. It was built in 1932, and is likely the location of their first music siren, which shows up in the '50 Music Sirens' entry on the August 31, 1956 issue of the Nippon Gakki newsletter. Thanks to Shay, we now know where it was and a rough timeframe for when it was removed. HD aerial imagery (that we unfortunately cannot show) confirms that the music siren was in the center of the room on the southwest corner of Administrative Building no. 2. It was in place until ~2004. The concrete mounting pads are still in place today.
Toyota Motomachi's music siren was in place by at least the 1980s, though the plant itself was completed in 1959. The current music siren at the factory is still in place on top of Administrative Building no. 2.

Toyota Takaoka was built in 1966, and the music siren is still in place today. That's all we know so far.

Toyota Tsutsumi was completed in November of 1970, and its music siren is still in place today.
