After multiple private purchases of the 2nd Generation music siren from 2 locations, YAMAHA decided to get in on the action and install the newer version of the music siren. However, the music siren was not officially activated until 1991. The music siren remained until December 2018, when YAMAHA announced its deactivation on December 28. This was due to the building it had been sitting on, being nearly 70 years old, and the factory was tired of sending workers to inspect the music siren.

A few articles, even a wikipedia article, mentioned a music siren being installed here. The fact that its the company's headquarters makes it even more likely. Building removed between 2021 and 2024, used to be on the corner.

First music siren ever installed. For some reason has 14 notes instead of 12. Replaced in 1991 by the 2nd Generation music siren.
