NO#(1976) live stranded near Tofino BC in 1976 and ended up passing away. Necropsy found that he had 394 harbor seal claws (representing at least 20 harbor seals), large pieces of two harbor porpoise, and the vibrissae of harbor seals and a sea lion in his stomach. He was suspected to have stranded on a small shifting sand bank while pursuing a harbor porpoise
