Was found to be 6.7m (21.98ft) long in a 2020 photogrammetry study

Was found to be 5.7m (18.7ft) long in a 2020 photogrammetry study. Name was changed to Amir in mid 2022 to better reflect his sex

Was found to be 4.7m (15.41ft) long in a 2020 photogrammetry study. Was entangled in a crab trap on July 5, 2023 in Saratoga Passage for an hour or so before unentangling himself. Has dispersed from the rest of his matriline
